The desire to help is likely at the heart of every graduate student engaged in the mental health profession. As supervisors, we are also engaged in helping our supervisees become better therapists. It is therefore important that we impress upon our supervisees that the desire to help is not enough. For supervisees, the skills of the profession can sometimes fade into the background as the desire to help becomes the foremost motivation. The NCE success rate is 98%*
The in-person intensive prep workshop is
hosted the 3rd Saturday at the LPCA office
Hours: 8:30 AM -5:30 PM
DATES: 2024 Dates: January 20, February 17, March 16, April 20, June 22, July 20, August 17, September 21, October 19, and November 16.
Pass rate would be 100% but one person moved and never reported if they took the exam. The other did not stay in the counseling profession)
