Introduction for the Mental Health Professional Webinar - October 1, 2021

This 1.5-hour webinar focuses on providing clinicians with an introduction to biofeedback as an adjunct intervention to clinical interventions. Through this webinar clinicians will learn about biofeedback modalities, clinical applications, and how biofeedback and mindfulness can work together to improve outcomes.

Objective 1:
Describe what biofeedback is and how it can be administered

Objective 2:
Understand how utilization of biofeedback can improve client outcomes

Objective 3:
Learn how biofeedback can be used in clinical practice with mindfulness principles

*This educational program does not provide certification in biofeedback, but is an introduction to the area of biofeedback.

Presenter:   Britney Allen Turk PhD, LPC Dr. Turk holds a PhD in psychology with a specialization in mental health practice and policy from Northcentral University. She is the owner and director of Mountainview Counseling in Gainesville, GA, a private practice serving the mental health needs of the community through counseling and biofeedback services. Certified in dialectical behavior therapy, mental health integrative medicine, and HeartMath®, a biofeedback intervention. Britney is an adjunct instructor at Brenau University and Lanier Technical College. She is also a HeartMath® Certified Trainer.
