Does it exist in the body or in the mind? Is it a collection of actions, desires, and fantasies, or is it rather a disposition, a way of seeing oneself, an identity? Does what we want depend on who we are? Does what we do define who we are? In addition, she strives in exposing students to different theories and an examination of the historical, political, economic, and social spaces women inhabit in various parts of the world and analyzing the conditions that promote and inhibit activism around women’s lives taking into account how gender is defined, deployed, and deconstructed.
