LPCA Sponsored: Disenfranchised Grief- Grieving the Loss of a PetDisenfranchised grief, also known as hidden grief or sorrow, refers to any grief that goes unacknowledged or invalidated by social norms. This kind of grief is often minimized or not understood by others, which makes it particularly hard to process and work through. This training is geared to help therapist or lay - person understand what it is and how to help their clients process through it.
