The LPC Connection (click here for past issues)  is a quarterly publication designed specifically for LPCA members in the state of Georgia. It serves three main goals: 

• To help counselors in the profession learn more about the practice of counseling and business development. 

• To serve as resource to help counselors stay current with the current trends and challenges in field to help counselors understand how to promote the profession in GA.

• To promote the achievement and success of fellow counselors in the GA.

Step 1: Select A Topic

Our newsletter covers a wide range of topics from personal experiences to research. Trust us, you have a story to share! We allow submissions from students, non-licensed, associate, clinical, and CPCS members.  Review any of the topic areas below and decide what story or information you want to share with the profession.

Step 2: Write Your Article

Writing your article should be fun and meet the following requirements: 

• Checked for proper grammar, spelling, etc.
• Have a title in all caps
• Approximately 500 + or - words (including tables and citations).
• Have a 2- to 3-sentence bio at the end for each author

 Submission deadlines for articles and advertisements for the Newsletter, which is published four times a year are as follows:

• March/April issue – March 1 (publication date: Mar. 20)
• June/July issue – June 1 (publication date: June 30)
• September/October issue – September 1 (publication date: Sept. 30)
• December/January issue – December 1 (publication date: Jan 5)
