LPCA is proud to present for our Northern District Understanding Motivations and Boundaries in the Therapeutic Relationship, presented by Norther District Rep Skye McIntyre. This program will help you become a better clinician by teaching you a model by which to conceptualize your motivations and behaviors with patients. It will also help you conceptualize your patients in order to better understand what is at the core of their distress. In this program, you will learn a tool for understanding your motivations during the counseling session and in the therapeutic relationship. This will address Sections A.4.a., A.4.b., and C.2.g. of the ACA Code of Ethics. This will constitute 2 Ethics hours. You will then apply that same tool to conceptualize your patients.
