3-Hour Live CE This is a theoretical based CE that focuses on supervision quality and development. This is focused on building the supervisee's potential as a counselor. The focus is on how to teach empathy, compassion, active listening using a specific theoretical orientation. The course includes an overview of qualitative assessment techniques for supervisors to use in their sessions. An added focused in online verses face to face rapport building strategies.

Objective 1:
Understand the various conditions for therapeutic change and be able to teach their supervisees' to reach these conditions.

Objective 2:
Be able to describe and teach the advanced levels of clinical skills a professional counselor needs to supervisees.

Objective 3:
Help identify areas for supervisees to improve the quality of their clinical skills.

Presenter: Dr. Louis F Boynton II PhD LPC NCC

Dr. Louis F Boynton has a PhD in general psychology and is currently a professional counselor, filmmaker, researcher, and radio show host. He has a background in most qualitative research methods. He has worked in several psychiatric facilities, outpatient facilities, and currently runs a private practice in Newnan, Georgia. As a counseling educator, Dr. Boynton has developed multiple courses in clinical supervision and currently he serves on the board of the Licensed Professional Counselor Association of Georgia
